Nigerian activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, is raising his voice against the government after a group of young children was arrested and charged with treason. Their offense? Flying a Russian flag. According to VeryDarkMan, who spent the night in a cell alongside these children, they were all brought to court but couldn’t get bail, leaving them to spend another night in jail.

In a video, VeryDarkMan expressed his frustration, asking, “Where will they sleep tonight? Back in the cell, right?” He highlighted how these children are under 17, look malnourished, and have limited access to education. “What do they know about treason?” he asked, pointing out that these are young, vulnerable kids being treated as criminals.

He emphasized the injustice in detaining children under such harsh accusations and urged the government to release them. “Please, let these kids go home,” he pleaded to the authorities.
