Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a warning about a possible gang up aimed at removing Godswill Akpabio from his position as Senate President. He expressed concern over Akpabio’s alleged incompetence and poor management of his public statements.
In a video posted on social media, Ayodele stated that Akpabio’s remarks could lead to disrespect for the Senate and create divisions among its members. He believes this could lead to a significant shift in the Senate’s dynamics, as Akpabio’s leadership style has raised concerns among his colleagues.
As tensions grow, it remains to be seen how the Senate will respond to these issues and whether Akpabio can maintain his position amid increasing criticism.
He said: “Akpabio must be careful because they would soon gang up to remove him if he doesn’t manage his statements.
“Akpabio will make the current Senate to be disrespected and those with the voice of the people won’t allow them.
“There will be segregation in the Senate which will be on the account of Akpabio’s incompetence.
“Akpabio will cause trouble for his own removal despite the fact that the Senate President is just a government mouthpiece. This Senate will not be able to change anything, just wait for a rowdy session.”
