In a recent post on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Buchi revealed that he has struggled with anxiety for seven years. Despite his prayers and strong faith in God, he has not experienced healing from his mental health disorder.

Buchi explained that he has come to accept that he needs to take medication to manage his condition. He expressed frustration, noting that while he has prayed for healing, his situation has not changed. This led him to wonder whether his faith was not strong enough to bring about healing.

‘’Despite my faith which was certainly bigger than a mustard seed, I felt guilty that maybe my faith wasn’t big enough to trigger God’s healing on me. I felt that maybe my healing was delayed because of my inability to conceive a faith so mighty to expel this mental health struggle. But I’ve learnt to not idolise my faith, and that my faith cannot triumph over God’s sovereignty. Have faith in God to fulfil your heart desires, but have greater faith in God to do whatever He wants.” he wrote

Following his post, several Christians took to the comments section to question his faith and encourage him to trust God for healing. Buchi responded by challenging this view, asking why so many faithful Christians remain bedridden or hospitalized despite believing in a God who heals.
