Popular food critic Opeyemi Famakin has accused Cubana Chiefpriest of threatening him after a recent review. Famakin visited Chiefpriest’s restaurant in Imo State on September 11, 2024. While he praised the restaurant’s atmosphere, he criticized the fact that the pastries were pre-made and microwaved.
Initially, Chiefpriest responded positively on Instagram, thanking Famakin for his visit. However, things took a turn when Famakin alleged that Chiefpriest threatened him via private messages the next day. To support his claim, Famakin shared screenshots of their conversation. In the messages, Chiefpriest made cryptic remarks about karma and mentioned that the business was owned by a “6-year-old.”
Famakin has since warned the public to hold Chiefpriest accountable if anything happens to him. He expressed his concern about the stark contrast between Chiefpriest’s public politeness and his threatening private messages. As a result, Famakin has decided to leave Imo State to ensure his safety.
