Tech billionaire Elon Musk has entered the conversation surrounding the recent United States presidential election debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. Musk, known for his outspoken nature, shared his thoughts on the 90-minute debate, which took place in Philadelphia, via his X (formerly Twitter) account.
In his post, Musk expressed concerns that the debate’s hosts, provided by ABC, were not impartial in their treatment of Trump. He felt that Trump faced unfair treatment compared to the other candidates.
However, Musk didn’t shy away from offering praise where he felt it was due. He acknowledged that Kamala Harris exceeded the expectations of many viewers during the debate. While her performance may have impressed, Musk argued that delivering well-crafted speeches isn’t what’s most important in leadership. Instead, he believes action and results matter far more.
Musk questioned Harris’s overall track record, especially considering that President Joe Biden, according to him, has been less active, leaving Harris with increased responsibilities. If Harris is capable of delivering on her promises, he asked, why hasn’t she done so yet?
Musk wrapped up his comments by posing a fundamental question to voters: “Do you want current trends to continue for four more years, or do you want change?” For Musk, it appears the answer is clear—he believes Trump is the candidate who can bring about that change.
