On Friday, it was reported that Russian strikes have killed eight civilians in various parts of Ukraine. In the northeastern Sumy region, two people lost their lives due to these attacks. The Kharkiv region, located near the Russian border, also saw two civilian deaths. Additionally, rescuers found a body in the rubble from an earlier attack.
In the Donetsk region, one more person was killed in a recent attack. Despite the ongoing offensive in Donetsk, Moscow is also dealing with a Ukrainian counter-attack in the Kursk border area.
In Kherson, a southern city that was liberated in autumn 2022 but remains at risk from Russian strikes, two people died, and five were injured.
Authorities are now evacuating civilians from Pokrovsk and surrounding areas, where about 50,000 people still live.
