On Thursday morning, firefighters in Kwara State acted quickly to prevent a disaster after a serious collision between a bus and a truck on the Otte-Ilorin expressway.
The accident occurred at around 8:12 AM when a bus loaded with cosmetic products crashed into a truck that had tipped over on the expressway. The truck, which had been carrying perfume and honey, had been overturned since Monday. When the bus collided with it, a fire broke out.
Thankfully, the Kwara State Fire Service responded immediately. The firefighters bravely fought the blaze and were able to bring it under control before it could spread further and cause more damage.
