Former Anambra Deputy Speaker Harford Oseke Passes Away After Exercise

The former Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Harford Oseke, has sadly passed away. Oseke, who was well-known in his community, collapsed after completing his usual exercise routine at the Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, the capital of Anambra State.

Despite immediate efforts to revive him, Oseke was pronounced dead shortly after the incident. His body was then taken to the Apex Medical Centre in Awka for further examination.

Born in August 1960 in Umuawulu, Awka South Local Government Area, Harford Oseke had a distinguished academic and professional career. He studied law and had recently completed a Ph.D. in Public Administration. Alongside his political career, Oseke was also a significant figure in the freight forwarding industry in Port Harcourt and had contributed to the importation of fishing feeds into Nigeria.

His sudden passing has left a deep void in both his family and community. He is survived by his wife and children. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.
