A teenage boy in Tongaat, Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa, bravely defended himself after being assaulted by a 47-year-old man. The incident occurred when the boy accepted a drink from the man and lost consciousness shortly after. He awoke in a nearby bush and discovered that the man was assaulting him.
In self-defense, the teenager pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed the attacker multiple times before fleeing the scene. He went to the Tongaat Police Station to report the assault. When the police arrived at the scene, they found the injured man lying on the side of the road, claiming he was a robbery victim.
However, the boy soon arrived at the scene and confirmed that the injured man was the one who had attacked him. Authorities also revealed that the suspect was under investigation for other assaults on minors.
