Celine Dion Warns Trump After Unauthorized Use of Her Song at Rally

Celine Dion has voiced her concerns after former President Donald Trump used her famous song “My Heart Will Go On” during a rally in Montana. Dion’s team made it clear that they never gave permission for the song to be played and are puzzled by Trump’s choice.

The song, known as the theme from the movie Titanic, was played at the rally where Trump appeared with his running mate, J.D. Vance. Dion’s management emphasized that she does not support any political candidates and did not authorize the use of her music for political events.

Trump is known for his unusual music choices at rallies, often mixing in different genres. Alongside Dion’s song, he also played tracks from The Lion King and other unexpected selections. However, Dion’s song was the only one that was reportedly paired with a video.

On the other side of politics, the Harris/Walz campaign is avoiding Hollywood associations at the Democratic National Convention. They want to steer clear of any image that might label the event as a “liberal Hollywood gathering,” so celebrity appearances, if any, will be toned down.

Dion’s team reiterated that using her music in political settings should not be seen as a political endorsement. She prefers to stay out of politics and focus on her music.
