Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh recently faced interrogation by the Nigeria Police Force in Abuja following serious accusations made against her by her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill. The allegations involved theft, forgery, cyberbullying, and criminal defamation.
According to reports, Tonto Dikeh was called in to clarify her statements and provide evidence regarding the accusations. During the questioning, she admitted that some of the claims she had made against Churchill were not true. For instance, she had previously claimed ownership of a N22 million Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, using documents that were later found to be forged. The original documents proved that the vehicle belonged to her ex-husband.
In addition to the issue of the car, Tonto had accused Churchill of being a “Yahoo boy” (an internet fraudster). However, during the police interrogation, she confessed that this claim was baseless and not supported by any evidence.
Despite the seriousness of the accusations, the police granted Tonto Dikeh bail after multiple rounds of questioning. This legal trouble comes at a time when Tonto is also facing allegations from Skyewise Autos for failing to make payments on a vehicle she bought on credit.
Tonto Dikeh’s situation has sparked a lot of discussions online, with many people following the developments closely. This case serves as a reminder of the importance of truthfulness, especially when making public accusations.
