After facing off against other gifted Nigerian vocalists, he was declared the winner on Sunday.
John Legend’s “Glory,” performed by the top 10 competitors, opened the show.
Progress and Victory Gbakara, two previous champions, then made guest appearances.
Prior to the last three finalists, Lammy, Chioma, and Chima, showcasing their final performances, Simi and Chike entertained the audience.
Chima receives ₦30 million in addition to a brand-new SUV, a DSTV Explora with a one-year premium membership, and a music deal with a video.
