Police Find Graves of Kidnapped Victims in Ogun

Police in Ogun state have found the shallow graves of Adekunle Ifelaja, a 71-year-old farmer, and Ogunyemi Femi, who were kidnapped and killed in the Ijebu-Igbo area.

The graves were discovered after two members of a seven-person gang, Chukwuma Bartholomew and Igwe Monday, confessed to the crimes.

Police spokesperson Omolola Odutola confirmed the discovery, noting that it happened five days after the anti-kidnapping squad had a gunfight with suspects, killed two kidnappers, and rescued several victims, including Indian nationals.

Odutola mentioned that the suspects led the police, including the Commissioner of Police Abiodun Alamutu and the anti-kidnapping squad, to the forest in Ijebu-Igbo where the bodies were buried.
