Veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo recently discussed the value of thankfulness in relationships. He voiced his worry about the growing trend of ingratitude, particularly when individuals accept financial assistance yet neglect to express gratitude.
Kanayo made the observation that a lot of people accept financial or other favors and merely reply with a “seen” text message. He made it clear that not acknowledging them is an indication of ingratitude. The actor said that nobody has to help others, and he advised his fans to develop the practice of being grateful. Expressing gratitude inspires others to carry out good deeds.
Kanayo,
“Hey, friends, I have a question. Why do individuals lack gratitude so much?
“You assist someone.”
“When you send someone money as a favor, they say they’ve seen it. observed? Do you believe you have the right? People with that mindset are inherited; they are not appreciative.
“Gratitude unsaid is ingratitude spoken,” he went on. Learn to be appreciative of anything that someone does for you; it’s not your right. The individual will be inspired to take on more in this way. Resolve to be thankful instead of self-centered, as no one owes you anything. Have a lovely week.
The lesson from Kanayo is that being grateful is essential to keeping wholesome and happy relationships.
