‘Stop it’ – Actors Guild Warns Against Olu Jacobs’ Death Rumours

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has issued a strong caution to the public regarding circulating false rumors about the passing of veteran Nollywood actor, Olu Jacobs.

In a statement, AGN spokesperson Kate Henshaw reiterated that Olu Jacobs is alive and well, urging those responsible for spreading such misinformation to cease immediately.

Expressing dismay, Henshaw pointed out the recurring nature of these rumors and questioned why there is a persistent trend of prematurely declaring Olu Jacobs deceased each year.

In her words: “It’s deeply troubling to see yearly RIP posts for someone who is very much alive. This constant misinformation is not only harmful but also disrespectful to this esteemed actor and his family. It must stop. UNCLE OLU JACOBS is ALIVE.”

Initial reports suggested that the renowned actor had passed away on a recent Sunday. However, his family has adamantly denied these claims, emphasizing that Olu Jacobs is alive and in good health.
