Chelsea’s young Academy forward, Tyrique George, has extended his contract with the club until 2027, with an option for an additional year.

George has been with Chelsea since he joined their Academy as an under-8 player in 2014.

Now 18, George has steadily climbed through the ranks of Chelsea’s Academy system.

Last season, he stood out by playing crucial roles in two different Academy teams, scoring several impressive goals.

George made 26 appearances for the Under-21 team, including three in the Premier League 2 playoffs, and played 21 matches for the Under-18 team, who won the Premier League South title.

Although George has played for England at the youth level, he is also eligible to represent Nigeria.
