A female pilgrim from Kaduna State, Hajiya Asma’u Muhammad-Ladan, has died in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, during the 2024 Hajj. She passed away at King Fahad Hospital after a brief illness on Friday.

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Malam Yunusa Muhammad-Abdullahi, announced the sad news in Arafat on Saturday, June 15.

The PRO did not specify her local government area but mentioned that she was registered at the agency’s headquarters.

The agency has informed her family and expressed their condolences, praying for Allah’s mercy on her soul and comfort for her family.
