Nigerian couple arrested in South Africa with drugs worth over R2 million.
Police said, they got a tip about the drugs being transported to Upington.
Police searched the car and found lots of drugs, including mandrax tablets, tik, and crack cocaine. They also found cash and cellphones in their car.
The police took the drugs, car, cash and cellphones. They arrested the two people in the car, a 42-year-old man and a 39-year-woman from Nigeria. The couple will be charged with drug dealing and to appear in court soon.
Police boss Lieutenant General Koliswa Otola praised the officers for their work.
She said
“ They are making it difficult for drug dealers to operate .“
